ANGELA TAYLOR
Angela Taylor graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee followed by a year of Post Graduate studies. She has received a number of awards and travelling scholarships and was a Royal Society of Arts, London, Major Prizewinner.
Angela’s work is held in several private and public collections including The Museums of Scotland, Edinburgh, Dundee Leisure Centre, The Scotch Whisky Association, Brechin Cathedral and St. John’s Kirk, Perth. She was also commissioned to produce a series of soft sculptures in collaboration with Ian Hamilton Finlay.
She was elected a Professional Member of the Society of Scottish Artists in 2019.
Angela has exhibited widely in the UK, Ireland and France and also exhibits in the SSA, RSA and other Scottish venues. Her work was selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2019.
She works from her studio in Newport on Tay and from the Print Studio at Dundee Contemporary Arts.
